Stationary Energy Storage
Na-ion batteries are ideal for stationary storage applications. They can also be transported when cells are fully shorted (zero volts) enabling them to be used where transporting batteries would normally be restricted or hazardous.
Transport Applications
Our sodium-ion cells are ideal for e-scooters and e-bikes — as we’ve shown in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering and Oxford University. Use of this technology in starter batteries and hybrid electric vehicles is being explored too.
